Germaine Provencher Siniscalchi, 55, of Kingston, NY and a former Rhinebeck and Red Hook resident passed away on Monday September 25, 2017 at the HealthAlliance Broadway Campus in Kingston.
Born September 15, 1962 in Cornwall, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Eleanor (Cobey) Provencher. She was a graduate of Rhinebeck High School
Germaine worked for many years at Stockenberg Hardware store in Red Hook and the Red Hook Historical Diner. She enjoyed spending her time with her animals and doing crafts, she was also a fearless and accomplished horse enthusiast- having ridden at both the Rokeby Farm in Red Hook and Southlands in Rhinebeck.
She is survived by her daughter, Louisa Singer of Kingston, NY; a sister, Linda Gonnella of Tivoli, NY; three brothers, Daniel Provencher of Cairo, NY, Drew Provencher of New Brighton, PA, and Roy Provencher of West Palm Beach, FL; her first husband, Jens Singer of Kingston, NY; her "adopted daughter", Adrienne VanSteenburg of Kingston, NY; along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial services will be held at Bridge Builders Community Church on Sunday October 1, 2017 at 2PM.
