COVID-19 Remarks

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Our first and foremost priority is to serve the members of our great communities in their time of need.

During these times of uncertainty we want you to know that we are closely monitoring the recommendations from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH), the Dutchess County Department of Community and Behavioral Health as well as both the National and State Funeral Directors Associations to help protect our community and our staff while ensuring our families are cared for.

As precautionary measures, we have significantly increased our cleaning efforts including recommendations to promote proper disinfecting protocols, frequent hand washing and healthy hygiene practices.

Current NYS guidelines allow for limited capacity within our facilities. Masks are mandatory and social distancing is required. With respects to visitations- in addition to the above guidelines- NYS is asking that those visiting please pay your respects and do not linger. Outside/graveside services fall under the 50 person limit with the same mask and social distancing guidelines.

We ask that you too take these precautions when visiting our funeral homes. If you are experiencing any signs of illness, we kindly ask that you refrain from coming to our funeral homes at this time.

Also, if you are coming from a state which is listed on the NYS "travel ban" - NYS askes that you refrain from attending.

We understand that there will be members of our communities that would like to extend their condolences…these options are always available:

 - Please sign our condolence book on our website-
 - Send flowers via our website – we will have them delivered to our funeral home and we will forward       to the respective family.
 - Memorial donations
 - Forward cards or condolences to our funeral home and we will forward to the respective family
 - Memorial/Prayer Cards- will be available upon request.

Thank you for your patience during these times.

Please remember, and keep those in our prayers who are affected by COVID-19 as well as the health care providers, first responders, public health officials, and all those on the front line who are helping to keep things operational.

Thank you and be well,

The Troy family

Bruce, Eleanor, Clare & Patrick
