Albert J. Michelucci, 87, of Red Hook, NY, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Rhinebeck, NY.
Born March 22, 1933, in Glens Falls, NY, he was the son of the late John and Antoinette (Noble) Michelucci. Al married Lucy Calandra on Dec. 28, 1957 in the Bronx, NY at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Al served in the United States Marine Corps and fought in the Korean War, rising to the rank of sergeant. After serving his country, he completed his college education graduating from Baruch College in New York City with degree in business. He was a small business owner, operating his own contracting business for many years. He enjoyed hiking, biking and was an avid runner, with several full marathons under his belt. As a music lover, he had a wide range of albums in his collection and taught himself how to play the guitar and piano.
In addition to his loving wife Lucy, Al is survived by his son, Steven of Weston, CT, daughter, Debra Brown and son-in-law Craig Brown of Shelton, WA, sister, Terry Lauro of Mamaroneck, NY and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
