Marjorie M Pease, , 70, of Tivoli, NY, passed away on Monday, March 22nd, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born on December 19th, 1950, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Marjorie (Glass) Frederick. Marjorie married Alan Pease on April 13th, 1984 in Tivoli, NY and he survives at home in Tivoli. For many years locally, Marjorie worked as a secretary for the NYS Department of Corrections- Greenhaven Correctional Facility and at Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie. Having resided in Ogdensburg, NY from 1987 to 2009, she also worked at the Academy at Ivy Ridge in Ogdensburg, NY. Marjorie was a member The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and took great pride in taking care of the many church missionaries while they were in the Hudson Valley. She took great joy with her hobbies, which included needlepoint, scrapbooking, and quilting. Marjorie would often take road trips to visit the various quilting shops throughout New England. An avid collector, she collected nail polish, shoes, clothing, accessories, salt & pepper shakers, bears, moose, snowmen, and Thomas Kincaid villages. In addition to her loving husband Alan Pease of Tivoli, NY; she is survived by her daughter Renee Jones of Williamsburg, Iowa; her son, Douglas (Joscelyn) Pease of Rupert, Idaho; her adopted son, Harry (Crystal) Pease of Tivoli, NY; her siblings, Sharon Stevens of Highland, NY, Gloria Jean Morgan of Kerhonkson, NY, Emma Mae McKinnies of Clarendon, North Carolina, Alice Morgan of Highland, NY, Mary Jo Nealy of Gilbertville, Massachusetts, and Clifford Frederick of Ocala, Florida: along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Her brothers, Russell, and John Frederick predeceased her. Calling hour will be held on Friday, March 26th, 2021 at the Burnett & White Funeral Home in Red Hook from 12:30pm to 1:30 pm. Then a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery, Red Hook, NY. Due to Covid-19/ NYS Guidelines- masks, social distancing, & capacity limitations will be adhered to during all services.
