Obituary of Lynn A. DeGuise

"Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget." The world says goodbye to a wonderful friend, a supportive wife, an amazing mother, a loving grandmother, and a caring great grandmother. Lynn DeGuise, 75, passed away peacefully Thursday January 24th, 2019 at her home in Rhinebeck, New York. She is survived by her Mother Camilla, brother Mark, son Lance, his wife Caryn, her seven grandchildren, Brooke, Bradford, Matthew, Jake, Shelby, Savanna and Jackson, and her great grandchildren King and Octavia. She always said, "the best things in life are the people you love, the places you've seen, and the memories you've made along the way". Family and faith meant everything to Lynn. In addition to her immediate family, she felt so blessed to have found her Baptist family at the Church of the Messiah Episcopal. Not only was Lynn an active member of her church, but also an active member of the volunteer community. She was a part of Animal Rescue Agencies, the Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Jayne Brooks Memorial Pantry, and many others. Lynn will be greatly missed by those she has left behind, but is reunited with her daughter Tracy, son Brad, father George, and husband Lee. God was ready for His loving and vivacious daughter to come home.

The Memorial Services will be held at the Church of the Messiah, 6436 Montgomery St, PO Box 248, Rhinebeck, NY on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 5 P.M. Followed immediately by a reception.

"I laughed, I cried, I wouldn't change a thing" -Lynn
