Obituary of Emanaum E. Franklin

Emanaum E. Franklin, 41, of Mount Marion, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.

Born on March 29th, 1978, port au prince, Haiti, he was the son of Gerta Joseph of Haiti and the late Jean Eli Franklin. Emanaum married Carmen Gorsuch on December 22, 2005 at the Town Of Ulster, and Carmen survives at home.

For many years, Emanaum worked as a field service technician with the New York State Lottery based in Albany, NY.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children Alexis Gorsuch, Micah Franklin, and Jaedon Franklin all of Mount Marion, NY; his siblings, Cleeford Franklin of New York, NY, Dorlette Franklin of Georgia, Sandra Joseph of Florida, Natalie Civil of Georgia, Saragene Civil-Mesadieu of New York, NY, Doris Civil of Georgia, Steevenson Denis of Haiti, and Alexandra Denis of Haiti; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 2 – 4PM & 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, 9 Astor Dr, Rhinebeck, NY 12571. Burial will follow at Mount Marion Cemetery, Mount Marion.
