Toni Taddeo Artist, Poet, & Computer Expert Sunrise: December 27, 1937 Sunset: December 14, 2019 A New York Yankee Fanatic & Poet, Toni went into the arms of her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on, Saturday, December 14th, after a courageous battle with metastatic breast & bone cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was a first generation American of Italian parents, born in New York City (the Bronx) on December 27, 1937 the 2nd oldest of 5 children born to Luigi (Louis) Taddeo & Domenica (Mamie) Taddeo (nee Mafrici). She moved to Germantown, NY in 1969, a Columbia County resident for over 50 years. She was a Christian, a Mother, a Grandmother & a Great Grandmother, a Sister, an Aunt, & a Friend. She retired as Deputy Town Clerk & Computer Secretary from the Town of Germantown in April of 2003. She also owned Yahweh Custom Sewing, where she specialized in children's clothing & Liz Clairborne dress samples. Toni was a self-taught computer expert for over 30 years, running her own computer sales & repair business. She started a Computer Bulletin Board System in 1984, her first website in 1995 and had several worldwide websites and blogs online since then. She also is a computer graphic designer, specializing in Mouse drawing graphics, pixel and pop art. Toni was very well-known & very loved by her many worldwide online friends. Toni was a longtime member of the Southern Tier Seniors. Toni is survived by her daughter, Elena Leno of Jacksonville, Florida; her son, Louis (Betty) Leno of Bells Pond, NY, a granddaughter, Jessica Gonzales of Leander, TX, a grandson, Dominic Golisano of Germantown, NY. Four Great-Grandsons, Anthony Thornburg, Alex Thornburg, Nathan Gonzales & Rian Gonzales all of Leander, TX. She is also survived by her sisters, Phyllis Taddeo & Louise (Bob) Costello, both of Germantown, NY, & her brother, Joseph (Josie) Taddeo of San Jose, CA. Toni is also survived by 12 nieces & nephews, 14 great-nieces & great-nephews, 1 great-great niece & 1 great-great nephew; many cousins, and her Uncle David Mafrici, of Colonie, NY. She was predeceased by her parents; her sons, Joseph Leno, Nicholas Leno; a granddaughter, Sarah Padilla; & her brother, Simeone Taddeo. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook, NY. Interment will be private at the Reformed Church Cemetery, Germantown.
