William Philip Mollica, Sr, 56, a lifelong Red Hook resident passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Born February 25, 1964, in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas R. Mollica Jr. and Janet (Butler) Mollica of Red Hook. Bill was a graduate of Red Hook Central Schools. Bill retired from Red Hook Electrical Supply in 2016 with 20 years of employment. He was the smiling face behind the counter to help with all of your electrical supply needs. He worked extremely hard to support his family. Bill was also a lifelong New York Yankee fan.
William married Nancy L. Brown on September 28, 1985 at St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook, NY. Nancy survives at their home.
In addition to his loving wife, Nancy, and his mother, Janet, Bill is survived by his daughter, Lisa Adams and her husband Jason of Pleasant Valley, NY; his siblings, Thomas Mollica III, Timothy Mollica, and Denise Mollica, all of Red Hook, NY; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted family members and friends.
Bill is predeceased by his son, William P. Mollica Jr., his father, Thomas R. Mollica Jr., and his sister, Debra Mollica.
Memorial donations may be made in William's memory to the Double H Ranch, A SeriousFun Camp 97 Hidden Valley Road, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846. The Double H Ranch was a place Bill and family visited yearly to remember Billy Jr.
