Obituary of Elizabeth Mary Theberge

Elizabeth “Betty” Mary Habina Theberge,90, departed her life on November 21, 2020 at The Haven in the Village at Carolina Place, Pineville, North Carolina.

Betty was born on December 27, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Caroline Habina. She was the last departing of her eleven siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Cyrice Edward Theberge of Pineville, NC; children: Donna Graham (Joseph) of Hillsborough, NJ, Daniel Theberge(Mary) of Reston, VA, and Douglas Theberge(Cathy) of Cave Creek, AZ, Shelley Collins of Redlands, CA, son-in-law Mark Towler of Arcadia, OK, and Julie Theberge of Indian Land, SC; grandchildren: Jeff Graham (Kree), Ryan Collins, Michael Collins, Matthew Theberge(Allison), Danielle Theberge (Gabe), Benjamin Towler (Lindsay), Nicolas Towler, Stephanie Towler, and Grayson, Cooper and Kenzie Theberge; and great-grandchildren: Nate and Eliza Graham, Landon and Liam Collins, and Owen Towler. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Towler and son-in-law Paul Collins.

Betty and Cy were married in St John’s Nepomucene Church, Philadelphia, PA in 1952. Throughout their 68 years of marriage, she was the ultimate wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was devoted to her family, taking care of everything and making their house a home. She loved crafting and shopping and was always making ceramic gifts and buying the perfect presents for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to celebrate every event. Always with a smile on her face, she created an environment of Love.

Burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date, post COVID-19.
