Obituary of Alexis F Underwood
Alexis F Underwood, 67, a longtime area resident, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 7th, 2020.
Born on July 14th, 1953, in Rhinebeck, NY, she was the daughter of the late James F. Hurley and Leona (Chumbres) Craig. Lexy married the love of her life- Richard “Rick” Underwood on August 20, 1983 and he predeceased her on June 28th, 2020
Lexy worked as a Records Retrieval Specialist with Imedview, Inc. based in Saugerties, NY.
Lexy brought joy and laughter to so many of us. She was dearly beloved by every person that entered into her circle and will be missed by everyone. Her star shines very bright above us and will continue to help guide us.
She is survived by her siblings, Elaine Hurley of California, John Craig of California, Steve (Dolores) Craig of South Carolina, and Jim (Maria) Craig of Virginia Beach, VA; her nieces, Stephanie (Will) Montag of New York, and Zoe (Tim) Quick of Virginia; her nephew James (Lisa) Craig of Massachusetts; her grandniece, Ariya Craig of Massachusetts; her in laws, Paula (Tom) Clark of New York; her dear friends Linda Alamia & Harold “Butch” Fell of New York; along with extended family, colleagues and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2020 at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook, NY. Due to Covid restrictions and if you are unable to attend, the services will be livestreamed at: https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/14598674
